Meraki

This place is soooooooo good! You may get up and dance at the perfection of this homemade food served in a beautiful village South of Sparta – trust your GPS and you will find it. This family run taverna has every flavor nailed and they are so nice. Oh the dishes you will find… Ask for their specials – if they have Korfathas – you say YES! This dish, the leaves of zucchini, is specially prepared with an herby tomato sauce. They have amazing Kleftiko dishes, their Kontosouvli is perfect, their pork belly will have you in tears with a magic crispy skin. Their beef stuffed dolmas in avgolemono literally melt in your mouth. Goat with spaghetti – the sauce is sooooo good. They have some serious chefs in this kitchen. They have oven baked pastas and pizzas as well. I recommend it all! My photos are not going to do this place justice – but trust! If you are feeling adventurous, put this place in your GPS and enjoy the adventure passing olive fields and check out the village’s gorgeous church.
