Kalamaki Taverna

(Skoutari) This place is our heart – I am scared to share this one. We have been coming here for over 20 years — through toddlers, teenage boys, loud family lunches, long beach days, and those perfect late-afternoon swims when no one wants to leave. It’s a true gem — a taverna and beach all in one spot, with parking. George takes care of the beach service, and the people here are simply the nicest you will ever meet. The taverna is next to the water allowing you to move from water to table all day. They have a cute area next to the restaurant where you can host private events and grab a small table under shady trees. (Recommended Dishes: Must haves are the assorted boiled veggies, shrimp pasta, calamari (grilled or fried) chicken fillet, octopus (grilled and marinated), gavros (grilled and marinated), black-eyed pea salad, their specials are always a hit. It’s fair to say I love their entire menu.)
