Mavrovouni Beach

(Mavrovouni) A long stretch of pebbly beach outside of Gythio. The water is deep in most areas, calm as oil in the morning and the winds pick up around noon in the summer. The winds make this a great beach for windsurfing which you will see during the day. The water is blue and clean and sometimes the waves make it more fun for the kids to splash around in. You can see many turtle conservation spots as well – make sure you dont touch!
